The Princeton sprint football remains on the road for its final pair of contests, beginning at Army on Friday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. in West Point, N.Y. The Tigers (0-5, 0-4 CSFL) are slated to face an undefeated Black Knight squad at 5-0, 5-0 CSFL.
Princeton is coming off a 50-19 loss at Cornell on Oct. 11. Quarterback Chad Cowden threw for a career 330 yards, going 22-for-52 with three touchdowns. He found multiple targets throughout the contest, including Kadheem Cohens for his third touchdown of the year, a team-best mark.
On the year, Chris McCord leads the receiving game with 23 receptions for 355 yards and two touchdowns, while John Wolfe has a pair of touchdowns on 19 receptions for 285 yards. Defensively, A.J. Sibley has a team-high 22 tackles and a forced fumble.
Army is coming off a 51-6 victory over Mansfield last week. The win was headed by CSFL-leading quarterback James Wartski, who has thrown for 1,216 yards and 12 touchdowns. Tucker Van Dyke leads the Black Knights in receptions with 20 for 309 yards and two touchdowns, while the ground game is led by Marqus Burrell’s 322 yards and five touchdowns.
Princeton wraps up the year at Penn on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. in Philadelphia.
