Playing without its talented freshman class, which participated in an orientation evening on the Princeton campus, the Princeton women's volleyball team fell 3-0 to Seton Hall Wednesday night in the Pirates' home opener.

Seton Hall improved to 9-1 this season with the 25-19, 25-19, 25-20 victory. Princeton, which will compete at the George Washington Invitational this weekend, fell to 2-4.

The Tigers got another standout performance from sophomore middle Nicole Kincade, who recorded 14 kills and three blocks, while hitting .480 for the Tigers. Kincade currently leads the Ivy League in blocks, and she will continue moving up the hitting percentage and total points charts with this effort.

Junior Chelsea Parker got the start outside and had a season-best 10 kills, while senior Lydia Rudnick added nine. Classmate Sydney Brombal, who played libero, led Princeton with 10 digs, while both Parker and sophomore setter Ginny Willis had eight apiece.
