Tucker Shanley, a senior midfielder, will miss the remainder of the 2013 season and will withdraw from school to return for the 2014 season.

Shanley injured his ankle in the preseason and then tried to play against Hofstra in the season opener, only to reinjure the ankle and also suffer a broken arm.

A graduate of Fairfield Prep, Shanley scored 20 goals and had eight assists a year ago.

"I am obviously very disappointed that I won't be able to finish my career with my classmates," Shanley said. "I am really looking forward to the opportunity of getting healthy and contributing next year."

Jeff Froccaro, also a senior, has been added to the Tewaaraton Trophy watchlist after his strong start. Froccaro has a team-best 14 goals and has won .571 of his face-offs as the Tigers have gotten off to a 4-1 start.

Princeton junior Tom Schreiber is already on the Tewaaraton list.

Princeton is at Penn Saturday in its Ivy League opener.
