The Princeton sprint football team concluded the 2012 campaign with a 36-21 loss at Penn Friday evening in Philadelphia. The Tigers managed to come within a possession in the third quarter, but the Quakers surged past a rallying Princeton side (0-7, 0-6 CSFL).

Penn jumped out to a 14-0 advantage in the first quarter, before the Tigers responded with a touchdown of their own. Joe Bush threw a 72-yard touchdown to Nicolas Lulli with 3:16 left.

Down 26-7, Bush found an open Sean Conrad for a 12-yard touchdown run with 10:25 remaining in the third quarter. The Tigers then made it a one-possession contest, 26-21, with a Bush one-yard touchdown seven minutes later.

Bush threw 207 yards, going 12-for-33, in his complete game performance. Defensively, Conrad had a team-high 12 tackles, while Ross Cadman made Princeton's lone interception.

Princeton's second half rally would fall short, as Penn countered with 10 unanswered points over the fourth quarter.
