Senior All-America lacrosse player Chad Wiedmaier and 2011 Ivy League Football Rookie of the Year Chuck Dibilio join the latest edition of TigerCast.
Wiedmaier is one of the top defensive players in the nation, and he will lead the 12th-ranked men's lacrosse team into a weekend showdown with No. 8 North Carolina in Baltimore. Wiedmaier has a chance to become Princeton's first four-time first-team All-Ivy selection, and he is looking to do it while leading the Tigers back to the NCAA tournament. Wiedmaier, who also worked with the Fields of Growth Program in Uganda, talks about the potential for the 2012 Tigers during TigerCast.
Dibilio came to Princeton with great potential last fall, though there is no way he could have predicted what the next five months would hold. He earned Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors after rushing for 1,068 yards, the most by any true freshman in Ivy
history and the sixth-most by any Princeton running back in a single season. On Jan. 19, while studying for a final, he suffered a stroke and is now home, working hard on therapy and recovery. Dibilio updates the Princeton community on his current status, his memories of that night and his thoughts on both the past season and future ones for Princeton football.
