Princeton Announces Men's Lacrosse Class of 2017
The Princeton men's lacrosse team will be adding 11 players this coming school year, when the Class of 2017 arrives to join a team that graduated only five seniors last month.
Princeton will bring in three attackmen, four middies (including one face-off man) and four defensemen.
The Class of 2017 represents eight states and one Canadian province. There are two players from Pennsylvania and Connecticut and one from New York, Maryland, Massachusetts, Virginia, California and Texas, as well as Ontario.
Princeton graduated one starter on attack (Jeff Froccaro), another player who played attack and middie when healthy (Luke Armour), two top shortstick defensive midfielders (Chris White, Bobby Lucas), a face-off man (Lucas) and a longstick midfielder (Tom Gibbons).
