The rather large shoes of Tyler Fiorito, Chad Wiedmaier and John Cunningham will be filled this coming lacrosse season by Tom Schreiber and Chris White.

Fiorito, Wiedmaier and Cunningham were the 2012 Princeton captains. Between them they earned nine All-America and 11 All-Ivy League honors and are among the best ever to play their positions at Princeton.

The 2013 Princeton captains will be Schreiber, a junior offensive midfielder, and White, a senior defensive shortstick midfielder.

Schreiber, in just two years, has already established himself as on that level as well, and he will enter his junior year after earning first-team All-America honors while putting up 60 points last year. White plays a position that doesn't afford the chance to rack up big stats and honors, but he has been a valuable contributor since his freshman year.

Princeton will play the same 13 teams in the regular season that it did a year ago, when the Tigers went 11-5, won the Ivy League with a perfect 6-0 record and advanced to the NCAA tournament.

Princeton graduated Fiorito (goalie, 2012 Ivy League Player of the Year), Wiedmaier (defenseman, four-time first-team All-Ivy League) and Cunningham (All-America longstick midfielder), as well as four-year starter Jonathan Meyers (defense), Alex Capretta (23 goal scorer a year ago) and Mike Grossman (started 34 games the last three years on attack or midfield).
