PRINCETON, N.J. (2/12/14) - The Princeton men's hockey team travels to the Northeast this weekend to take on Brown and No. 13 Yale. The Bears host the Tigers on Friday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m., and the Bulldogs play host on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m.

EYE ON THE TIGERS
Princeton is 4-19 on the season and 3-13 in the ECAC, sitting in 12th place in the league standings. The Tigers lost 7-1 to St. Lawrence and 4-3 to No. 14 Clarkson at home last weekend. Senior Andrew Ammon’s three-point weekend last weekend jumped him to the top of the scoring column. He has 12 points on a team-high eight goals and four assists. Also leaping in the scoring column is senior Andrew Calof who assisted on every Princeton goal last weekend, four, and now has 11 points on 10 assists and one goal. Junior Tucker Brockett also has 11 points, while sophomore Jonathan Liau has 10. Senior Sean Bonar and freshman Colton Phinney have split time in net. Bonar is 2-9 with an .885 save percentage and a 3.95 goals against average, while Phinney is 2-10 with a .896 save percentage and a 3.76 GAA.

THE PRINCETON/BROWN SERIES
Brown leads the all-time series 85-65-8 since it began in 1900-01. The Bears are 4-0-1 in the last five meetings and won the first game of the series 6-3 at Hobey Baker Rink on Nov. 9. Andrew Calof leads the team in points against Brown with 11 on four goals and seven assists in nine games. Andrew Ammon has five points in seven games. Sean Bonar is 0-2-1 against Brown with an .890 save percentage and a 4.34 GAA.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
Brown is eighth in the ECAC Hockey standings with a 6-9-1 record and it 9-11-3 overall. Since December Brown went on a tear, going 6-2-2 but is 0-3 in its last three games. The Bears lost 4-3 at Union and 4-1 at RPI last weekend. Sophomores Mack Naclerio and Nick Lappin are the team’s leading scorer with 30 and 28 points, respectively. Naclerio has 15 goals and 15 assists, while Lappin has 10 goals and 18 assists. Junior Matt Lorito has 24 points on 16 helpers and eight goals. Seniors Dennis Robertson (CAR) and Garnet Hathaway add 15 and 10 points. Freshman Tyler Steel has started in 16 games in goal and has a .903 save percentage and a 2.88 GAA. Senior Marco DeFilippo has started in seven and has a league-best .926 save percentage and a 2.69 GAA.

THE PRINCETON/YALE SERIES
Yale owns a 132-103-10 record in the series since it began in 1901. The Bulldogs have won the last three games, including two from earlier this season. Yale won a 3-2 game at the Prudential Center in October and a 5-2 game at Hobey Baker Rink. Andrew Calof has 12 points in 10 games against Yale and Jack Berger has six in 10 games. Sean Bonar is 1-2-1 against Yale with a .902 save percentage and a 3.42 GAA. Colton Phinney saw two period of action against Yale and allowed five goals on 22 shots.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Yale is sixth in the league standings with a 7-6-3 record and a 12-7-4 overall record while being ranked No. 13 in the nation. Seniors Kenny Agostino (CGY) and Jesse Root each have 22 points to sit atop the scoring column. Agostino has a team-high 11 goals and 11 assists while Root has a team-best 15 helpers and seven goals. Gus Young (COL) is the team’s best scoring defender with six goals and eight assists. Seven other players have 10 points or more. Freshman Alex Lyon has started in goal in all but three games. He has a .922 save percentage and a 2.28 GAA.
