Women's Tennis Posts Winning Start to USTA Invitational

Princeton opened play Friday at the three-day USTA Women's College Invitational with a 13-1 record in singles over two rounds and 2-1 record in doubles over one round.

Lindsay Graff and Katherine Flanigan, top seeds in their draws, each won both of their singles matches, while freshmen Amanda Muliawan and Emily Hahn also went 2-0 in singles, as did Monica Chow and Joan Cannon. Katie Goepel, the top seed in the "D" draw, won her first-round match but was defeated in the quarterfinals.

The event will feature two rounds of doubles Sunday and one round of singles before concluding with Monday's final rounds. Complete results for Princeton are below and results for all players are available at the tournament site here.
