Moore '08 Signs One-Year, Two-Way Contract with Nashville Predators

Mike Moore '08 has been signed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Nashville Predators, the organization announced today, July 3.

Moore has been with the San Jose Sharks organization since he graduated from Princeton. He has played six games with the Sharks, while spending the majority of his time with their AHL affiliate the Worcester Sharks. In 254 games in the AHL, Moore has scored 14 goals and 58 assists for 72 points while earning 379 penalty minutes. He was captain of the Sharks during the 2010-11 season.

A first-team All-America at Princeton, Moore was team captain at Princeton his senior year as he guided the Tigers to an ECAC Championship, Ivy League Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance. He was the 2008 ECAC Hockey Defensive Defenseman of the Year, a first-team All-ECAC and All-Ivy selection and a member of the 2008 ECAC All-Tournament team. Moore was also named to the ECAC All-Academic Team three times. He finished his career at Princeton with 52 points on 14 goals and 38 assists and 154 penalty minutes in 121 career games.
