Will Ford Will Play in Front of Friends, Family as MSU Hockey Takes On Princeton
EAST LANSING — Tom Anastos wanted to give Michigan State's first Big Ten hockey schedule a little Ivy League flavor.
He thought back to a powerful connection he made a few years ago, not that far away.
MSU will host Princeton today and Sunday for the first time since 1980, and the Tigers feature a famous Michigan name on their roster: Will Ford.
The Princeton senior forward is the son of William Clay Ford Jr., the executive chairman of Ford Motor Company. The vice chairman of the Detroit Lions also is an avid hockey enthusiast.
