Before Princeton:
Played for three BCHL teams: Westside Warriors, Victoria Grizzlies and most recently Cowichan Valley Capitals ... joined Capitals in January 2013 ... assistant captain ... played in 21 games and scored 10 goals and five assists ... began the season at Victoria, where he had 10 points in 34 games ... played in 50 games with Westside and scored 12 points in 2011-12 ... a 2011 graduate of Hermantown High School ... helped guide the Hawks to three Lake Superior Conference championships, two sectional championships and two state championship second-place finishes ... captain his senior year when he collected 75 points (42-33-75) in 31 games ... his 75 points broke a 66-year school record in single-season scoring ... named Lake Superior Player of the Year, all-state, Duluth News Tribune All-Area, Minnesota state all-tournament team and the Midwest High School Elite 1 league ... won the team’s MVP and Offensive Player of the Year ... captured the Ted Brill National Invitational Tournament Champion as the points leader.
