2012: Appeared in 11 games, starting one ... saw 46:32 minutes in the cage ... went 1-0 ... had 17 saves and a .333 saves percentage ... made season debut and had a save versus Cal Lutheran (9/7) ... helped contribute to 16-6 win over Iona (9/15) with a pair of saves ... made first start and played entire game, tallying six saves in 13-7 victory over Penn State Behrend (11/3).

2011: Appeared in two games in goal for the Tigers as a freshman, picking up a quarter of playing time in consecutive wins over Fordham and Iona. He made a save against Fordham and five against Iona. He also had a steal in the Iona game.

Before Princeton

Princeton native Brendan Byrne played four years of varsity water polo at the Lawrenceville School. Byrne was a member of three New Jersey State Championship winning teams and was a high school Academic All-America.
