2012: Played in nine games, starting eight before missing remainder of season due to injury ... had a 5-4 record behind 71 saves, seven steals, three assists and a 0.546 saves percentage ... tallied seven saves, an assist and a steal in 14-10 win over Cal Lutheran (9/7) ... had 12 saves and two assists versus No. 13 Brown (9/15) ... amassed 11 saves apiece in wins versus Bucknell (9/16) and George Washington (9/22).

2011: Paled in 15 games for the Tigers and went 8-7 with a .588 save percentage. Dearborn missed the first 11 games with an injury and returned on Princeton's trip to California with 13 saves in a loss at Loyola Marymount. Dearborn made 12 saves in his next start as Princeton won at 13th-ranked Long Beach State and had 10 or more saves in 11 of his 15 appearances. His career high of 18 saves came in an overtime win over Navy at DeNunzio Pool. Dearborn added 15 saves in the Southern semifinals against Johns Hopkins, and turned away 14 shots in the Eastern semifinals and championship game as the Tigers bested St. Francis and Navy to help lead to a first-team All-Eastern Tournament selection. Dearborn made five saves in Princeton's win over 10th-ranked UC San Diego in the NCAA third-place game.

2010: Appeared in 10 games in goal for the Tigers as a freshman. He made one start and made 11 saves on 14 shots to record a win over Iona. He also appeared in nine games off the bench. He made nine saves in the second half of a win over Bucknell and seven in the second half of a win over MIT. Dearborn added an assist against Bucknell and had a steal against MIT.

Before Princeton

Dearborn competed for four years on the Sacred Heart Prep water polo team, the last two as the starting varsity goalie. As a junior, his team was co-champion of the WCAL and the CCS Division 2 Champion. Dearborn received first-team All-WCAL and second-team All-CCS honors as a junior. As a senior, his team again was WCAL and CCS Division 2 Champion. Dearborn received first-team All-WCAL and was named CCS Co-Player of the Year. He was also named Cal-Hi Sports Scholar Athlete of the Fall Semester. As a senior, he was also named Palo Alto Daily News Player of the Year, and was named a third-team All-America. Dearborn also competed for Stanford Water Polo Club, and during the 16 and under Junior Olympics, his team won the tournament and he was named MVP of Junior Olympics. As an 18 and under the next year, his team took third in the tournament.
