The Ivy League® Digital Network is set to bring live coverage of the 2013 Asa S. Bushnell Cup Presentation on Monday, Dec. 9 in New York City.
The event will be streamed live and free of charge beginning at 12:25 p.m. from the Vanderbilt room at the famed Waldorf=Astoria Hotel. The presentation will begin at 12:30 p.m.
Recognized as Bushnell Cup recipients, Ivy League football's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year will be unveiled at a special reception and press conference as part of the festivities surrounding the 56th National Football Foundation (NFF) Annual Awards Dinner.
The Offensive Player of Year will be announced from the two finalists -- Princeton junior quarterback Quinn Epperly and Brown senior tailback John Spooney -- and the Defensive Player of the Year will be announced from the two finalists -- Harvard junior defensive lineman Zach Hodges and senior defensive lineman Caraun Reid.
The four finalists, along with their head coaches, are slated to be on hand at the presentation.
The Ivy League and the NFF are partnering for the fourth-consecutive year to co-host the Bushnell Cup presentation. Last year, Harvard quarterback Colton Chapple was named Offensive Player of the Year and Princeton defensive lineman Mike Catapano was named Defensive Player of the Year.
