There are only two Princeton teams playing at home Saturday, and both are featured on this week's TigerCast. Water polo head coach Luis Nicolao and football defensive co-coordinator Jim Salgado talk about their successful first months, as well as the weekend upcoming.
Nicolao has led the men's water polo team to an 11-3 record and a Top 15 national ranking. Using a balanced attack on both the offensive and defensive sides, Princeton has won three straight games and has yet to lose a game this season to a team outside the Top 7. Nicolao talks about that balanced success, as well as Saturday's games with both Johns Hopkins and Navy.
Salgado is both the defensive co-coordinator and defensive backfield coach for a Princeton team that has won its last two games and allowed its opponents only five third-down conversions in 30 attempts in the process. Led by co-captain Phillip Bhaya and first-team All-Ivy cornerback Anthony Gaffney, the opportunistic defense will be challenged Saturday by a Lafayette team with impressive skill players in Ross Scheuerman and Mark Ross.
