Nov. 21 TigerCast: Bob Surace Recaps Progress Of 2012, Glances Ahead To '13
After a season in which Princeton posted its biggest win improvement in more than two decades, Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year finalist Bob Surace '90 broke down both the highs and lows of the season and looked ahead to 2013 in this annual season-concluding episode of TigerCast.
This season, in which Princeton landed 10 players on the All-Ivy team, saw Princeton move from 1-9 to 5-5 and earn its first Ivy League winning record since 2006. The Tigers were in the championship race until the final day, and their 39-34 comeback win over Harvard will be a victory that will be talked about for decades moving forward.
Of course, Surace knows that there is still work to do. With a large number of starters returning in 42 weeks to take on Lehigh in the 2013 season opener, there is a reason for optimism in the program. Surace looks at that group, talks about the graduating seniors, provides updates on both Chuck Dibilio and Khamal Brown, and gives some early thoughts about the Ivy League moving forward.
