Tim Wenzlau was an offensive spark for the Tigers again as a junior with 38 goals and 19 assists. Wenzlau was a second-team All-Eastern Tournament selection after scoring six goals during Princeton's run to the Eastern title. Wenzlau had a season high four goals in an overtime win at Bucknell and added three more in wins over Johns Hopkins, Navy and Iona at Easterns. Wenzlau was the Southern Player of the Week following the three mid-season league games when he scored 10 goals in a three-game span as Princeton defeated Bucknell, Johns Hopkins and Navy. He also had three assists and four steals in the span. Wenzlau stole the ball four times in both league wins over Navy during the season and had a team-high three ejections drawn in a loss at top-ranked USC.

Wenzlau tied for the team lead in goals scored in his sophomore season with the Tigers. Wenzlau scored 37 goals and added 18 assists, 37 steals and 19 drawn ejections. Wenzlau opened the season with 12 goals over four games at the Princeton Invitational. The stretch included two five-goal games against Santa Clara and Harvard and led to a Southern Player of the Week award. Wenzlau add a four-goal performance in a win over George Washington, and he scored three times in Princeton's win over Bucknell for third-place at Easterns. Wenzlau had four multiple-assist games and recorded a season-high six steals in Princeton's Eastern quarterfinal win over Gannon. 

Wenzlau played in 27 games as a freshman and scored 22 goals while adding 10 assists and 17 steals. Wenzlau had two four-goal performances, coming in wins over Johns Hopkins and Bucknell in the Southern semifinals. He also added a three-goal game in a win over Redlands at the UC Irvine Invitational. Wenzlau scored his first two collegiate goals in a win over Harvard. Wenzlau added two multiple-assist games, tallying a pair of assists in consecutive wins over Johns Hopkins and Fordham.

Wenzlau earned All-America and Academic All-America as a senior at Palo Alto High School. He was also his team’s Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior and captained the team as a senior.  He was also a first-team All-CCS honoree. Wenzlau also played for the Stanford water polo club, and was a member of a third-place finishing team in the 18 and under division at Junior Olympics.
