Katherine Flanigan
• Team's No. 2 singles player during the 2013 Ivy season
• Won her first four Ivy doubles matches last season
• Had a winning Ivy singles record last season
• Was a second-team All-Ivy selection in 2013


Top Freshman in 2012-13

Amanda Muliawan
• Won the USTA/ITA Northeast singles title, gaining a USTA/ITA national berth
• Earned her first ITA ranking (52) in the first ranking of the spring season
• Was Princeton's No. 2 singles player in her final two matches before ending her season due to injury in mid-March
• Had a 9-2 singles record in the spring


Ten Princeton Women's Tennis Facts

• Princeton has not won an NCAA team tournament match, but their two most recent trips each came close. Both the 2009 match, against Virginia, and the 2010 match, against Florida International, came down to the final match in 4-3 decisions.

• Princeton has placed a pair in the NCAA doubles tournament in three of the last five years, with Hilary Bartlett '12 a part of all three duos.

• The last Princetonian to play in the NCAA singles tournament was Kavitha Krishnamurthy '03 in 2002.

• Princeton has had two Ivy League Players of the Year, an award that was inaugurated in 1995. Hilary Bartlett '12 was the most recent winner, in 2010.

• Princeton has had three Ivy League Rookies of the Year, also an award inaugurated in 1995. Lauren McHale was the last winner, in 2009.

• Princeton's all-time winningest coach is Louise Gengler, who coached the team from 1980-2004. Her 259 wins are more than all other coaches in program history combined.

• Princeton has been nationally ranked as a team or has had an individual nationally ranked in singles or doubles play by the ITA at the end of each of the last seven seasons, the longest streak in program history.

• Princeton's highest-ranked singles player ever by the ITA at season's end was Joy Cummings '84, who was ranked 19th in 1984.

• The Princeton tennis programs are housed in one of the newest athletic facilities on campus, the Cordish Tennis Pavilion, which opened in 2011.

• Princeton has had a winning Ivy League record and finished in the top half of the Ivy League in 10 straight seasons.
