Zack McCourt upended his second ITA-ranked opponent in as many days Saturday at the Lakewood Ranch Invitational, advancing to the event's final round Sunday at noon.
McCourt defeated 52nd-ranked Florent Diep of Florida 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 and will face Jordi Vives of Florida Gulf Coast for the event title.
Friday, McCourt beat 51st-ranked Harrison Richmond of Virginia in the Round of 16 to advance to Saturday's quarterfinal, where he defeated Duke's Bruno Semenzato, 6-1, 6-2.
McCourt was one of two Tigers to play Saturday, as Mohamed El Tonbari fell to Jack Findel-Hawkins of North Florida in a consolation match.
