BOX SCORE

A pair of second-half goals by the Harvard Crimson gave the host squad a 2-1 comeback win over Princeton Saturday afternoon in Cambridge. The loss is Princeton's first in the Ivy League, and the Tigers will try to stay among the top teams in the league when they host Cornell next Saturday at 4 pm.

Princeton (5-7-1, 2-1-1 Ivy) grabbed a 1-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the game when Cameron Porter connected on a penalty kick for his fifth goal of the season. The Tigers held that lead for more than 60 minutes, but the Crimson evened the score when Philip Fleischman headed in his second goal of the season off a pass from Ross Friedman.

The game stayed even until there were close to seven minutes remaining, when Harvard took advantage of a rebound to score the game winner. Matt Sheeleigh took a shot, and Daniel Smith was there for the rebound and his first goal of the season. The Crimson held on for the final seven minutes to secure their third victory in Ivy League play.

Princeton goalkeeper Steh MacMillan had two saves for the Tigers, who were outshot 11-6 in the game. Harvard had a 6-1 edge in corner kicks, including a 4-0 advantage in the second half.
