PRINCETON, N.J. (8/27/14) - The Princeton men's cross country team is ranked No. 2 in the region, it was announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday, Aug 25.

The Tigers are ranked second in the Mid-Atlantic Region preseason poll.

Princeton claimed second in the region last year to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships. Sam Pons, Eddie Owens and Matt MacDonald were named all-region as each finished in the top 20 and the trio returns in the 2014.

The men's cross country team begins the season at the HYP meet on Sept. 12 at Yale.
