It took just three minutes and two seconds for Princeton to turn the game from a one-goal contest into waiting out the clock. Tyler Lussi had both goals as the Tigers took a 3-0 lead with 12:22 to play.

Erika Hoglund became the fourth Tiger to score a goal this season when Emily Sura found her just outside the six-yard box in the 30th minute to put Princeton ahead 1-0.

• The game was the first between Princeton and Fordham in women's soccer.

• The Tigers' 4-1-2 record is their best through seven games since starting 5-1-1 in 2008.

• Senior Cecilia Di Caprio had her first career start in goal and her first career complete game. She had played in parts of two other games in her sophomore and junior seasons. Di Caprio is the first Tiger other than Darcy Hargadon to play in goal this season.

Jesse McDonough (top) and Haley Chow, both freshmen, also had their first career starts Tuesday night.

• The three goals tied a season high for Princeton, which last scored three against Army on Sept. 8. Tyler Lussi also scored two goals in that game, the only other time this season that a Princeton player has scored two goals in a game.

• Fordham had been 3-1-2 after an 0-3 start until the loss to the Tigers. It was also Fordham's second loss to an Ivy opponent this season after Dartmouth defeated Fordham on Sept. 13.

• The Tigers stayed perfect against Atlantic 10 teams this season with one more game to go. Princeton has defeated Richmond, Saint Joseph's and now Fordham. La Salle will be the final A-10 foe of Princeton's regular season next Tuesday at Roberts Stadium.

Saturday at 4 p.m., the Tigers will host Yale (4-3-0) for the first Ivy contest of the season. The Bulldogs will aim to break a two-game skid when they come to Roberts Stadium.
