The Princeton heavyweights just sent five of its six returning rowers from a fourth-place V8 finish at the IRA Championships to Varese, where they had significant success at the U23 World Championships. That group alone should create significant excitement about the possibilities in 2015.

Of course, that group won’t be alone.

Head coach Greg Hughes also believes he has brought in another strong group to compries the heavyweight portion of the Class of 2018.  One member of his last recruiting class, Tom George, was in the varsity eight that finished third at Sprints and fourth at the IRA Championships. Perhaps one or more of the following will line up for a national championship next spring?

Both the immediate and long-term future of the Princeton heavyweights will be affected by the following group, and Hughes can’t wait to see what is in store.
