It has been several months since the Princeton rowing teams competed for their various league and national championships.

And plenty has happened over those summer months, from brilliant alumni performances at international competitions to the first training sessions of the newest members of the Princeton Rowing family.

But it’s time to start racing again.

And where better to do so than at the Head of the Charles?

One of the most prestigious competitions in rowing, an event that dates back to 1965, will take place this weekend, and there will be plenty of Orange and Black both on and around the Charles River.

This year, Princeton will once again be sponsoring a tent in the Reunion Village. The village is located on the Boston shore between the Weeks and Anderson Bridges. The village provides a setting for clubs, schools, alumni groups, parents, boosters and “Friends” to connect and enjoy themselves against the backdrop of the greatest fall regatta in North America. Princeton has eight entries and the Fat Cats (Princeton Alumni) have six entries this year (see chart below).

Princeton has a tent reserved for alumni, parents and friends. Cold beer, wine, breakfast and lunch concessions are offered, or you may bring your own (but no alcohol may be brought onsite).
The Reunion Village highlights: Central big-top tent with food, beer, and wine available (cash only);  Play-by-play color commentary of the racing; Live webcast and Race Results display; “River’s Edge” view of competitors; Over 40 Alumni Organizations

Admission: $5/person per day for all-day come-and-go access.
