The Tigers began the match by taking a 25-21 set from the defending Ivy League champions. It was just the second set the Bulldogs have yielded in Ivy League play since November 2, 2012. Yale answered winning 25-16, 25-14 and 25-15 in the next three sets.

After a kill by Woolridge gave Princeton match point, at 24-16, Yale rattled off the next five points. Mattaliano ended the run on an assist from Woolridge to secure the Princeton victory, 25-21.

Overall, Peterkin led the Tigers with 12 kills and 12 digs, while Mattaliano had 11 kills and 11 digs. Miller finished the match with 32 assists. Princeton is now 6-9 on the season and 2-3 in league play.
