77:46: Brown's Chloe Cross scored, unassisted

• 7: The Tigers forced the Brown goalkeeping tandem of MC Barrett and Amber Bledsoe to make seven saves to get the win. As they've done for the past five games now, all shutout wins, the Bear pair was up to the task. Lauren Lazo had three of those shots on goal.

Brown put the Tigers in a hole in the 65th minute when Princeton was whistled for a foul and Mika Siegelman converted a penalty kick for the game's first goal.

• Brown stopped Princeton from evening the all-time series, which the Bears now lead 17-15-4. Since 1995, Princeton leads 12-5-2.

• The home team has won the last four games in the series. Princeton last won in Providence in 2009, as the Bears have now successfully defended their home pitch the last two times Princeton came to town.

Jessica Haley led Princeton in shots with a game-high five. The teams tied 14-14 in shots overall.

• The Bears were part of a rare feat against Princeton, as it's the first time since 2007 that Princeton has been held scoreless in three straight contests.

• Brown was able to stay on Harvard's heels atop the Ivy standings as the Ivy season reaches its midpoint next week. Harvard improved to 3-0 while Brown is now 2-0-1, just two points back.

• Cecilia Di Caprio, who finished the Dartmouth game, got the start in goal against Brown in her first Ivy start and her second overall start of the season.

• Wednesday at 7 p.m., Princeton will host Lehigh in its final home non-conference contest. The Mountain Hawks were 2-7-2 overall heading into their Patriot League contest Saturday night against Loyola (Md.).
