Yurcak Field • Piscataway, N.J.

Rutgers took 24 shots to Princeton's 15, though the Tigers outshot the Scarlet Knights 11-10 after the break. Rutgers led Princeton 13-9 in shots on goal, but eight Tigers, including Tyler Lussi, split those shots on goal.

Rutgers' Stefanie Scholz made it a hat trick, scoring three goals in the first half. Her first goal came after the Tigers failed to clear following a corner kick in the 30th minute. Jonelle Filigno had the takeaway and found Scholz, who took advantage of a one-on-one with Princeton keeper Darcy Hargadon.

• Rutgers increased its lead in the series with Princeton to 15-10-1. The Scarlet Knights have won the last three overall and are unbeaten in the last four at Yurcak Field, where the Tigers last won in 2001.

• Princeton's shutout streak came to an end at 319:59 minutes. It was the fourth-longest shutout streak to start the season in program history. The 1998 team took a shutout streak deep into its fourth game for a total of 343 minutes, while the 2000 (eight games) and 2001 (five games) teams had longer streaks.

Jessica Lee made her first start of the season. Lee is just the 13th player to share the 11 starting spots over the four games this season.

• Princeton ended Rutgers' six-match home shutout streak. It was the first goal Rutgers allowed at home since Sept. 23, 2012, when Marquette, the team that knocked Princeton out of the 2012 NCAA tournament in the second round, scored twice to beat Rutgers 2-0.

• Lauren Lazo's goal equaled her with Tyler Lussi for the team lead with three goals apiece. The pair have scored all six of Princeton's goals this season.

Princeton is 2-0 all-time against Saint Joseph's (4-2-2), but this will be Princeton's first visit to the Hawks' Sweeney Field. The Tigers beat the Hawks 2-0 in 2007 at Princeton Stadium and 3-0 last season at Roberts Stadium. Tuesday's game will start at 7 p.m.
