The Princeton women's volleyball team split the final day of the George Mason Tournament Saturday. The Tigers opened with a 3-0 sweep of Coppin State, but a shorthanded squad fell that evening to Radford.

The freshman class accounted for 22 kills in the win over Coppin State, including nine from Ellie Shannon and seven from Cara Mattaliano. Lauren Miller had four kills in six attempts, but she led the offense with 31 assists. From the middle, Brittany Ptak added two more kills.
Princeton trailed 22-19 in the opening set, but it scored six of the final seven points to grab the set, and the Tigers never looked back from there.
RADFORD 3, PRINCETON 0
Princeton played its final match of the tournament without its freshman class, which needed to return to campus for an evening orientation. Despite a team-best seven kills apiece from Peterkin and Woolridge, the Tigers fell in its weekend finale.
