In his final Ivy League dual match, senior Zach Bintliff rallied late for a 6-4 win over Andrew Lenzi for one of two Tiger wins in a 31-8 team win for the 23rd-ranked Penn Quakers. Both Bintliff and freshman Scott Gibbons earned wins over the Quakers in the final road match of the regular season.

Bintliff and the rest of the Class of 2013 will be honored Sunday afternoon at Senior Day when the Tigers host Boston University at 1 pm in Dillon Gym.

The nationally ranked Quakers took control of the team match early, but Princeton gave its fans some excitement at 149. Bintliff, a two-time EIWA placewinner, was locked in a tight battle with Lenzi, who led 4-2 entering the third period. After a pair of scrambles that led to stalemate calls, Bintliff was left with 30 seconds remaining and down two points.

With urgency on his side, he took Lenzi down and got him on his back for two near-fall points. While Lenzi was able to avoid a fall, Bintliff tightened his control and rode him the rest of the period for the 6-4 victory.

Princeton's only other victory of the day came at 184, when Gibbons took total control of Mike Steltenkamp in a 16-0 technical fall. The win was No. 20 for the Tiger freshman, one of five members of the Class of 2016 to start for Princeton Saturday afternoon.

Bintliff would love nothing more than to grab his 20th win of the season when he leads the Tigers against Boston University, which brought a 7-9 record into the weekend.
