Women's basketball senior co-captain Lauren Edwards and squash standout Libby Eyre join TigerCast to talk about their upcoming important home weekends.
Edwards, recently named one of 10 finalists for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, has been a key figure in the Princeton women's basketball run to the last two Ivy League championships. Edwards is currently averaging 10.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game, and she is a two-time first-team All-Ivy League honoree. She talks about the importance of establishing home dominance this weekend and her memories of a summer trip to Cambodia two years ago.
Eyre, who plays near the top of the ladder for the women's squash team, will lead the Tigers into a trio of home matches this weekend. The biggest match will be Saturday at 3, when Princeton takes on reigning national champion Yale. Princeton, which nearly knocked off top-ranked Harvard last month, is looking for a signature win prior to the Howe Cup. Eyre talks about the season, her team's chances at nationals and the terrific season by teammate Julie Cerullo.
