Head coach Sean Wilkinson has felt like his squad has grown leaps and bounds over the last 10 days, and he'd like nothing more than to see his team have an opportunity to compete with the best teams in the nation next weekend at the CSA Team Championships. The Tigers helped their cause with a 7-2 road win over Columbia Saturday, and they face a potential must-win situation Sunday at noon against the Cornell Big Red.

Playing a three-shift format, Princeton won each match in the first two shifts to clinch the team win early. Each match in the opening shift went four games, but all three Princeton players made sure that it went no further than that. Dylan Ward, Michael LeBlanc and Ben Leizman each took care of business to open a 3-0 Princeton lead.

Tyler Osborne made quick work of freshman Rishi Tandon at the No. 2 spot, and senior co-captain Ash Egan clinched the team win with a 3-1 victory at the eighth spot. Junior Taylor Tutrone was pushed to five games against Daniel Saleem, but he came up with wins of 11-7 and 11-6 to earn a sixth win.

Sam Ezratty returned to the lineup for a 3-0 win at the No. 7 spot for Princeton's seventh individual win. Former national finalist Ramit Tandon gave Columbia its first win with a 3-0 victory over Samuel Kang at the No. 1 position, and Columbia's Joshua Sehkar split a pair of tight early games before pulling away from David Hoffman for a 3-1 win.

Princeton is now 5-6 and can return to the .500 mark with a Senior Day win over Cornell Sunday. The Big Red defeated Princeton 5-4 in Ithaca last season, and they are currently ahead of the Tigers in the national rankings.
