Trimming 15 shots off its Friday total, the Princeton men's golf team gained one spot in the standings in Saturday's second round at the Brickyard Collegiate Championship in Macon, Ga.

Host Mercer also improved, jumping over Georgia Tech to take the team lead by one shot over the Yellow Jackets, who were ranked No. 4 in the nation in the preseason Golf World/Nike Golf poll.

Georgia Tech still has the individual leader in Ollie Schniederjans, who at -8 is a shot better than Mercer's Emmanuel Kountakis and Virginia Tech's Scott Vincent.

Greg Jarmas, the reigning individual Ivy League champion, took over top-Tiger status at 1-over in a tie for 29th overall. Princeton's results are below, and results for all teams are available via Golfstat here.

The Tigers will start Sunday's final round at 8 a.m.
