A memorial service for freshman Khristin Kyllo is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, in the Princeton University Chapel.

Kyllo, of Vienna, Va., died Jan. 13 in her Forbes College dorm room of natural causes.

The gathering will feature readings, remembrances and prayer, as well as musical selections by the Princeton University Gospel Ensemble. Remembrances will be offered by Kyllo's friends, mentors and professors. There will be an opportunity for those in attendance to share their memories as well. Purple ribbons, in honor of Kyllo's favorite color, will be available.

The service is open to members of the Princeton University campus community and Kyllo's family and friends.

Kyllo, who was a member of the University's softball team, is survived by her parents, Thomas Kyllo and Julie Kyllo, and her younger brother, Tommy Kyllo.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Khristin Kyllo '14 Memorial Fund, Princeton University, Alumni and Donor Records, P.O. Box 5357, Princeton, NJ 08540. Gifts should be made payable to the Trustees of Princeton University, with Kyllo's name noted in the memo line. A scholarship fund also is planned to be established in Kyllo's name at James Madison High School in Vienna.
