Starks has helped the Princeton defense to the top of the Ivy ranks in several statistical categories. A two-time All-Ivy League honoree, Starks ranks third in the league in tackles, and he helped Princeton record a 19-0 shutout of Brown. The Tiger defense has yet to allow an Ivy League touchdown, though it will face its stiffest test of the season when it takes on Harvard, which has the third-ranked scoring defense in the nation.
Shackford is the veteran head coach of the women's program, and she is seeking her sixth Ivy League title and eighth bid to the NCAA postseason. Princeton is currently 4-0 in Ivy play, and has produced one of its best offensive seasons in recent years. The Tigers host rival Harvard in the second half of a soccer doubleheader at Roberts Stadium Saturday, and the rivalry with the Crimson have produced several close games in recent years.
