The Princeton women's soccer program, coming off an undefeated, untied Ivy League season and a win in the NCAA tournament, will welcome nine members of the Class of 2017 onto the team. GoPrincetonTigers.com will introduce you to the newcomers one by one through the offseason.

Jesse McDonough • Midfielder
Monmouth Beach, N.J. • Shore Regional

McDonough helped lead her Shore Regional to a New Jersey Group I sectional title and to a berth in the Group I state final this past fall. She was named to the USL Super-Y League's ODP Select A team in spring 2012. She also played lacrosse at Shore Regional and counts four current and former Princeton lacrosse players as cousins, including Jack McBride '11, Chris McBride '11, Ben Reynolds '15 and Will Reynolds '17.

Coach Julie Shackford on Jesse McDonough:
"Jesse McDonough is a very talented central or outside midfielder. She is a natural lefty with good speed, vision, technique and competitive spirit.  She is also great on set pieces.   She joined the NJ Wildcats recently and also plays with the club’s W-League team, a franchise that Assistant Coach Ron Celestin helped start in 1995. We feel very lucky to have Jesse in our program and look forward to watching her develop in our system and as a Princeton student-athlete."
