Jen Hoy, the 2012 Ivy League Player of the Year and draftee of the NWSL's Chicago Red Stars, opened camp Monday with her professional team.
Hoy is one of 26 players in camp, which will include games against Marquette on Mar. 24 and Notre Dame on Apr. 3 with a training trip to Austin, Texas, from Mar. 25-31. Marquette was the last opponent Hoy faced as a Tiger, in the second round of last fall's NCAA tournament.
Hoy was an NSCAA second-team All-America, first-team All-Mid-Atlantic and member of the ECAC Division I All-Star Team in addition to being named the Ivy Player of the Year. She finished her career with the second-most goals in a season in program history with 18 as a senior and with the fourth-most points (83) and goals (36) in a career.
