Princeton senior Jen Hoy capped off her collegiate soccer career with an Ivy League title, an Ivy League Player of the Year honor, an NCAA tournament appearance and win, and now an NSCAA All-America award.

Hoy was named to the second team All-America, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced Friday. She is one of 50 players between the three teams to be honored across all of NCAA Division I.

Hoy was among the nation's top goal scorers, finishing with 18 goals to stand seventh in the nation in that category heading into this weekend's College Cup. She is also seventh in points per game at 2.11, fourth in goals per game at 0.947, and 13th in total points at 40.

She finished the regular season with 17 goals, tying a Princeton record for regular-season goals with current assistant coach Esmeralda Negron '05, who had 17 in 2004 on her way to a school-record 20 in a single season. Hoy's 18th goal was the eventual game-winner in Princeton's first-round victory at West Virginia on Nov. 10, marking the first NCAA tournament win for the program away from campus.

Hoy is the first Princeton player to be named an NSCAA All-America since 2004, when Negron and Diana Matheson '08, who went on to win an Olympic bronze medal with Canada this past summer in London, were first-team All-Americas. Negron, Matheson and Hoy, all of whom played under Princeton head coach Julie Shackford, are three of eight Tigers all-time to earn NSCAA All-America honors.

The full NSCAA announcement can be found here.
