The Princeton women's soccer team will take its four-game winning streak and 2-0 Ivy League record into Saturday's 4 p.m. contest against Brown on Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium.

Pregame notes:

• All-time series: Brown leads 16-4-4, though Princeton leads 10-3-1 since 1998.

• Last meeting: Brown won 2-1 in Providence on Oct. 8, 2011. Jen Hoy scored in the fifth minute, but Brown scored in the 13th and 25th minutes and held on the rest of the way. Princeton outshot Brown 20-9 overall and 9-5 on goal.

• Last time out: Princeton defeated Dartmouth 2-1 this past Saturday on Myslik Field (highlights of goals above), with Lauren Lazo scoring her first two goals of the season in the 75th and 79th minutes. Dartmouth quickly followed the second goal with its only marker, and the Tigers held on over the last 10 minutes to win.

• Princeton is looking for its first five-game winning streak since 2008. The Tigers are undefeated since returning from their two-game trip to California, tallying wins over Lafayette, Yale, Saint Peter's and Dartmouth.

• The win over Dartmouth closed much of the gap in RPI between the Big Green and the Tigers. Dartmouth was 38th to Princeton's 83 a week ago, but in this week's release, Dartmouth is 60th and Princeton 69th, the top two teams in the Ivy.

• This is the eighth time since 1999 that Princeton has started 2-0 in the Ivy League. More work is needed, though, as only five of those 2-0 starts turned into Ivy League titles.

• If Princeton wins, it will be the first time since 2010 and seventh time since 2000 that the Tigers started 3-0 in the Ivy. The first four of those (2000, 2001, 2002, 2004) turned into Ivy titles.

• Jen Hoy is among the nation's top-ranked players in goals, goals per game and points per game. Through games of Sept. 30, Hoy ranks third in goals per game at 1.1 (leader is at 1.2), sixth in total goals with 11 (leader is at 14), and ninth in points per game with 2.2 (leader is at 2.91).

• Hoy is climbling up the Princeton single-season list for goals, currently standing in 10th place on that list with 11 goals. Another goal would move her into a tie for sixth, and if she can get to 15 goals, she will become only the second player in program history to have 15 in a season after Esmeralda Negron's 20 in 2004.

• Hoy currently ranks fourth in program history in career goals with 29 (third place is 39), and fifth in points with 65 (fourth is 78).

• Princeton ranks No. 1 in the Ivy League in most statistical categories on offense, including points (73), goals (25), goals per game (2.5), assists (23), and assists per game (2.3). Brown has proven staunch on defense, with just seven goals allowed this season and a GAA of 0.78, both league-bests.

• The last four games in the series have been decided by one or fewer goals, including the tie in 2008. Princeton is 2-1-1 against Brown over the last four games, including a scoreless tie in 2008 and a 1-0 win in 2010 in the two previous meetings on Myslik Field.

• In addition to Hoy, seven other Tigers have scored goals this season, led by Caitlin Blosser's three goals. Between the posts, Claire Pinciaro has started the last three games and carried a 0.78 GAA over that span.

• For Brown, Chloe Cross (four) and Mika Siegelman (three) have scored seven of the team's 11 goals this season, two of the six goal scorers so far. MC Barrett and Amber Bledsoe have continued splitting the time in goal, Bledsoe getting all nine starts and Barrett playing a half in eight games. Barrett carries a 0.75 GAA in her 360 minutes, saving 90.3 percent of shots in the frame. Bledsoe has an 0.80 GAA in her 450 minutes, saving 82.6 percent of shots on goal.
