At Princeton — 2013: started at weakside linebacker and recorded 15 tackles during the Ivy League championship season … had season-high four tackles in 51-48 triple-overtime road win at Harvard … had four stops and a quarterback hurry at Lafayette. 2012: started all 10 games at inside linebacker and led all Princeton non-seniors with 67 tackles … had at least five tackles in nine games, and had three games with at least eight tackles … had career-best 11 tackles in 39-34 comeback win over Harvard, including season-best five solo stops … had eight tackles and a fumble recovery in 19-0 shutout of Brown … had 2.5 tackles for loss, including a sack against Georgetown … had three quarterback hurries and a pass breakup. 2011: made seven tackles as a member of the linebacker rotation … had career-high three tackles at home against Yale … made two tackles in season opener against Lehigh.

At Butler — earned all-state and all-conference honors … selected to the Shrine Bowl All-Star Game, played between North Carolina and South Carolina … named finalist for the Roman Gabriel Defensive Player Award as a linebacker … Great American Rivalry Series Student-Athlete Award recipient … played linebacker, fullback, defensive end and long snapper … started all four seasons and recorded 227 tackles in final two years … led team to four state championships … 2009 team was ranked #2 by MaxPreps, #6 by ESPN and #13 by USA Today … served as team captain in 2008 and 2009 … also lettered four years in track & field … ran the 400 and 4x400; threw the discus and shot put … reached state finals in shot put.
