With the 2012-13 season set to commence on Sunday, Princeton women's basketball senior Niveen Rasheed picked up her third preseason honor. The Tiger co-captain was named to the prestigious Wooden Award Women's Preseason Top 30, it was announced Friday by the Los Angeles Athletic Club.

The reining Ivy League Player of the Year, Rasheed is the lone Ivy player to be named to the national list. Rasheed, a 2012 First-Team All-Ivy and USBWA Player of the Year nominee, concluded the year leading the Tigers in nearly every statistical category and was one of the league's top performers throughout the season. She averaged 16.4 points, 8.8 boards, 2.9 assists and 2.4 steals per game.

Rasheed has been honored this preseason already, as College Sports Madness named her the Ivy Preaseason Player of the Year and an All-Mid Major and All-Ivy First Team selection.

The Wooden Award winner will be announced in April 2013 in Los Angeles, Calif.
