Princeton women's basketball senior Devona Allgood has been named Ivy League Co-Player of the Week, announced Monday by the conference. The Tiger co-captain had a standout weekend of work off the bench, helping Princeton improve to 23-4 overall, 13-0 Ivy and extend its winning streak to 16. She shares the honor with Penn's Alyssa Baron.
At Yale on Mar. 2, she tallied 13 points, five boards and a steal in 19 minutes of work. The following evening at Brown, Allgood scored a season-high 21 points in 25 minutes of action. She was 10-for-14 from the field, grabbed eight rebounds, made an assist and a steal.
Allgood is the third Tiger to earn the weekly honor this season. Senior Lauren Edwards was last week's recipient and junior Niveen Rasheed has been honored four times this year.
Princeton concludes the regular season tomorrow, Tuesday, Mar. 6 at 5 p.m. versus Penn in Jadwin Gym.
