PRINCETON, N.J. (4/19/14) – The Princeton men’s track & field team wrapped up Day 2 of the Larry Ellis Invitational today.

Sophomore Jake Scinto was the top collegiate in the long jump. He placed second overall with a jump of 7.14 (23-5.25). Freshman Greg Leeper was seventh at 6.69 (21-11.50) and senior Shane Molidor was 10th with a leap of 6.64 (21-9.50).

In the high jump, senior Omar Jarrett was third. He cleared a PR of 2.09 (6-10.25), two inches better than his previous best jump.

After winning the shot put yesterday, freshman Chris Cook earned a fifth-place finish in the discus. He threw to 49.95 (163-10). Classmate Jared Bell was seventh as his discus hit 47.22 (154-11).

Freshman Ben Gaylord cleared 4.50 (14-9) in the pole vault to take ninth.

Senior Brad Pelisek threw the javelin to 56.90 (186-8) for sixth place.

On the track, sophomore Greg Caldwell was fourth in the 110-meter hurdles. He clocked a 14.69.

Another top-10 finish went to the 4x100 relay that clocked a 42.05 for ninth place.

At the Mt. Sac Relays, junior Adam Bragg was third in the pole vault. Bragg cleared 5.05 (16-6.75) on his first attempt but couldn’t get over the third height of 5.20 to finish third.

Princeton will compete at the Penn Relays next week, April 24-26 and also at the TCNJ Lions Invitational on April 26.
