Princeton has been included in the 2014 College Basketball Invitational and will play in the postseason for the fourth time in five years, it was announced Sunday night.

Princeton will open play in the CBI Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET at Tulane. The winner will face either UTEP or Fresno State next Monday.

Princeton and Tulane have met twice in their history, both on neutral courts. The Green Wave won the first meeting in 1993 in Oakland, Calif., before the Tigers won the rematch in 2004 in El Paso, Texas.

Princeton enters the postseason on a five-game winning streak and accomplished its fourth 20-win season in the last five years by defeating rival Penn last Tuesday night. The Green Wave enter with a record of 17-16 overall and 8-8 in Conference USA. Tulane advanced to the C-USA quarterfinal before being eliminated by eventual tournament champion Tulsa.

This will be Princeton's third CBI appearance in five years.  The Tigers made their first appearance in 2010 and defeated Duquesne and IUPUI before losing to Saint Louis in the semifinals. Two years ago Princeton defeated Evansville before losing to Pittsburgh in the quarterfinals.

The Tigers are led by first-team All-Ivy League selection T.J. Bray, who is five points away from becoming the 30th player in program history to score 1,000 points in his career. In addition to Bray and fellow senior Will Barrett in the starting five, Princeton has started three underclassmen for the second half of the season, including sophomore Hans Brase and freshmen Steven Cook and Ivy League Rookie of the Year Spencer Weisz.
