Women's volleyball coach Sabrina King previews Friday's Ivy League opener, while sophomore DiAndre Atwater talks about his two-touchdown performance against Lehigh and his sibling showdown coming up this Saturday.
King, a three-time All-Ivy League player while winning three league crowns with Princeton, is in her third season as head coach, and she will lead the Tigers into Friday's home showdown with the Penn Quakers (7 pm, Ivy League Digital Network). King talks about using a high number of underclassmen early this season, as well as the return of junior Nicole Kincade last weekend, while she looks forward to the Ivy League season.
Atwater rushed for a career-best 111 yards and two touchdowns last weekend against Lehigh, though the Tigers fell 29-28 to the nationally ranked Mountain Hawks. He will lead Princeton this weekend into a road showdown with Georgetown, which is led by senior linebacker Stephen Atwater. The two brothers are the sons of eight-time Pro Bowl safety Steve Atwater. The Tiger tailback talks about his return from injury, the importance of this win and the effect his father had on his football development.
