DARTMOUTH: Live Video l Live Stats

One week after a thrilling 3-2 victory at the Palestra, the Princeton women's volleyball team faces a huge test this weekend during the always-challenging Harvard-Dartmouth road trip.

But the opportunity for a 3-0 Ivy League start, with all three matches on the road, is there for the Tigers.

Both matches will be available on live video, and both matches will have live stats as well (see links above). The live video of the Dartmouth match will be available to all subscribers of GoPrincetonTigers.TV; you can use your ID and password just as you do for home matches.

Princeton is one of four Ivy teams with a 1-0 start in Ivy play; by the end of the weekend, a maximum of two teams can have undefeated Ivy records. Both Princeton and Dartmouth will meet Saturday at 5, while unbeaten Columbia hosts Yale at the same time.

Of course, it's possible that no team will be unbeaten by the end of the weekend.

For Princeton, this has always been a challenging trip to earn a sweep. The Tigers have not swept this weekend since 2008, and they don't have a winning road record against either team over the last two years (1-2 against both). Last season, Lydia Rudnick and Sarah Hanna combined for 34 kills in a 3-1 win at Harvard, but Dartmouth held the Tigers to under .100 hitting in two sets of a 3-1 Big Green victory.

The Tigers have been led once again by Rudnick, a two-time first-team All-Ivy League selection. Rudnick leads the league with 4.1 kills per set, and she put down 25 in the 3-2 victory at Penn last weekend. She also leads the league with 4.6, and she is third on the team with more than 2.5 digs per set.

Teammate Ginny Willis leads the Ivies with 9.9 assists per set, but Willis' defense was huge factor at Penn last weekend. Willis recorded a career-best 29 digs in the victory over Penn, while teammate Sarah Daschbach added a career-best 26; Daschbach currently ranks sixth in the league with 4.2 digs per set.

Princeton head coach Sabrina King was happy to see freshman Kendall Peterkin back on the court after suffering an injury at the George Washington Invitational. Peterkin leads all Ivy freshmen with 3 kills per set this season.

Harvard is currently 3-9, 0-1 in the Ivy League, and is coming off a heartbreaking 3-2 loss against Dartmouth last weekend. Taylor Doctor, who shares second in the Ivy standings with Peterkin in kills, had 23 kills and 15 digs in the match. Her 3.6 points per set is second to Rudnick in league play.

Dartmouth is 2-9, 1-0 in the league, and will open the weekend hosting Penn Friday at 7 pm. The Big Green has been led by freshman setter Kayden Cook, who ranks fourth in the league with 7.6 assists per set.
