On the eve of important Ivy League weekends, women's volleyball standout Cathryn Quinn and football assistant coach Jim Salgado join the Oct. 13 edition of TigerCast.

Quinn, a first-team All-Ivy middle last year, is in the midst of the best season of her career. A four-year starter, Quinn ranks among the Ivy top 6 in kills, blocks, hitting percentage and points. She has helped Princeton to a 4-1 start in Ivy play, and her Tigers will host first-place Yale Friday at 7. Quinn talks about the Princeton-Yale rivalry, the early part of the Princeton season and the incredible fan support at Dillon Gym so far in 2011.

Salgado is the defensive backs coach at Princeton, and he has seen a pair of his seniors (Ivan Charbonneau and Chance Cross) work their way into the starting lineup. Cross forced two turnovers at Hampton last weekend to earn a spot on the All-Ivy Honor Roll, while Charbonneau is the only player in the Ivy League with a kickoff return for a touchdown this season. Salgado talks about that pair, freshman Khamal Brown and the explosive Brown passing attack he will see this weekend.

TigerCast can be accessed now through the "Podcasts" tab on the right side of the main page, or by going to the main TigerCast page here.

TigerCast, presented by PNC Bank, is the official podcast of Princeton Athletics. Previous episodes of TigerCast can be downloaded for free anytime at GoPrincetonTigers.com.
