Mattaliano Named To All-Ivy First Team; Woolridge Earns Honorable Mention

Freshman Cara Mattaliano, who led the Ivy League in both kills and points in league matches, earned first-team All-Ivy League honors following an impressive rookie season. Junior Tiana Woolridge earned the second All-Ivy honor of her career, as the middle earned honorable mention.

Mattaliano, who finished in both the Top 3 in the league in overall kills and points, was dynamic for Princeton when league play began. A two-time Ivy League Rookie of the Week, Mattaliano averaged league bests with 3.63 kills and 4.18 points per Ivy League match.

She had double-digit kills in 11 of 14 league mtaches, including a 21-kill effort in a 3-2 road win at Dartmouth, and she ended the year with double-doubles in half of the league's matches. During the last six matches of the season, when Princeton closed the year with a 4-2 finish, Mattaliano averaged 4.1 kills and 4.8 points per set.

Woolridge, a second-team All-Ivy League honoree last season, led the league with a .357 hitting percentage in Ivy matches. She had one of her biggest matches at the end of the season, recording 10 kills and six blocks while hitting .500 in a 3-0 win over Brown.
