At Princeton 2015: rowed in the 7-seat and helped the 2V to a silver medal at the IRA Championships; Tigers led the race through 1500 meters before falling in a thriller to Washington … won gold at the Eastern Sprints in the 2V and helped Princeton win the Rowe Cup (team points title) for first time since 2005; it was the first Princeton 2V gold at Sprints since 1999 … rowed in the Ladies Plate Challenge competition at the Royal Henley Regatta … competed in the 2V during the regular season and helped the boat go 8-0. 2014: helped the 2V to a silver medal at the IRA National Championships while rowing in the bow; it was the best 2V finish at the IRAs since 2000 … helped the 2V win silver at the Eastern Sprints … boat went 8-2 during the year and won its last four races. 2013: stroked the 4V to a gold medal at the Eastern Sprints.

Before Princeton – won Frosh 8 Gold at Stotesbury and SRAA Nationals in 2009 for St. Joe’s … JV8 Gold and SRAA Nationals in 2010 … competed at the Henley Royal Regatta in 2011 (Princess Elizabeth Cup) … team captain in 2011-2012 … member of NHS and the USRowing Scholastic Honor Roll … National Merit Scholar Finalist … winner of the St. Joe’s Prep Ignatian Scholar Award, St. Joe’s Prep Gold Medal in AP Physics.

Personal – born Nov. 11, 1993 … son of Anne and Bill Barker … father is a small business owner; mother is a domestic manager … has two siblings: Garrett and Caroline … brother is a lightweight at Cornell University, great uncle is Tom “The Bear” Curran – rowed the coxed pair at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin … plans to major in geosciences … enjoys playing the bamboo flute.
