In the second of three straight weekends of competition, the Princeton women's tennis team will head to the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York for the USTA BJK NTC Women's College Invitational beginning Friday.
Players will compete in eight singles draws of 16 players each. Princeton has players in each of the top six draws, and the Tigers in the top five of those draws are among the four seeded players in each bracket. The complete list of Princeton competitors is below.
In doubles play, four Tigers will form two pairs over the top two doubles draws.
Princeton's last visit to the tournament was highly successful, as the Tigers won three singles and one doubles flight title. Lindsay Graff, Amanda Muliawan and Katherine Flanigan were singles champs in the top three flights, and Graff and Muliawan paired to win the top doubles draw.
Binghamton, Bryant, Charleston Southern, Columbia, Connecticut, Delaware, Fairleigh Dickinson, Fordham, Harvard, Hofstra, Morgan State, NJIT, Pittsburgh, Providence, Rutgers, St. Francis (Pa.), St. John's, Seton Hall and Texas-Arlington are the teams that will join Princeton in sending players to the event.
